Everything stays on your device. This extension does not collect, send, or sell any data.
What is stored
- All your preferences (shortcuts, wallpapers, music, theme settings) are saved locally using Chrome's built-in storage.
- Custom wallpapers and music files are stored locally in your browser's IndexedDB.
- Your last 10 search queries are saved locally for history suggestions. This never leaves your browser and can be turned off in settings.
- Nothing is sent to any server.
Network requests
- All wallpapers, music, fonts, and icons are bundled with the extension. No network needed.
- Search suggestions — When enabled, your typed query is sent to Google's Suggest API (
suggestqueries.google.com) to show autocomplete results. This can be turned off in settings. - Favicons — When you add a shortcut, a favicon is fetched from Google (
google.com/s2/favicons) using the domain. No other data is sent. - No analytics, ads, or tracking of any kind.
